David J Schimp DC, DACNB, DAIPM, FICCN, CFPM
Dr. David J. Schimp is a compassionate and experienced provider of chiropractic and functional diagnostic & integrative medicine. He has advanced training and diplomas in functional medicine, nutrition, chiropractic neurology and pain management. He believes in building relationships with his patients and being accessible for care related questions and concerns. He is passionate about providing patients with comprehensive health services and natural alternatives for the support of acute and chronic problems that are sustainable and reasonably priced.
Dr. Schimp is a 1991 magna cum laude graduate of Northwestern Health Science University. He completed his neurology residency at National University of Health Sciences in 1995 and became a diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management (now Academy of Integrative Pain Management) in 1996. Dr. Schimp has taught orthopedics and neurology at Palmer University in Davenport, Iowa and clinical neurology at various locations throughout the US as an instructor for the International Chiropractic Association's pediatric, orthopedic, and neurology advanced degree programs. David was formerly an associate professor of clinical sciences and attending clinician at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas where he was among faculty members that received the W.D. Harper Science of Existence Achievement Award for 2013. He has published over 20 articles in the field of clinical neurology that have appeared in the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association, Chiropractic Technique, Topics in Chiropractic, Chiropractic Economics and The Pain Practitioner. Dr. David is a certified functional medicine practitioner and a certified medical examiner for the Department of Transportation. He is also certified by the State of Wisconsin in nutritional counseling. Dr. Schimp is a member of the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin, Academy of Integrative Pain Management and is a fellow of the International College of Chiropractic Neurology.
Allison Fiste CT, CRT
Allison is the staff chiropractic technician. She graduated from Moraine Park Technical College in May 2016 with an associate degree as a Chiropractic Specialist. Allison is state certified to take x-rays, perform therapies, and basic rehabilitation exercises. Allison chose the career of a chiropractic technician because she personally has seen wonderful successes with chiropractic care. She is very passionate about chiropractic and holistic healthcare. She truly enjoys helping patients achieve a high standard of health. Allison is committed to helping you receive high quality care and strives to make your visit a wonderful experience.
When not in the office, Allison enjoys spending time with her family and her dog. She enjoys dog training, volunteering at her church, and snowboarding on the side. Allison is excited to find natural alternatives to traditional products and care. She looks forward to seeing you in the office!
Emily Schimp
Emily is the insurance manager and front desk receptionist. Emily graduated from high school in 2016 and is preparing to enter nursing school in 2017 with a special interest in pediatrics. She has a warm smile, is cheerfully receptive and always ready to help answer questions during your visit or on the phone.
When not at the clinic, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and working with children. She is also an accomplished vocalist and enjoys playing flute, piano and guitar.
