Decompression

Flexion Distraction Manipulation is a gentle procedure that is research documented to relieve lower back and leg pain from disorders like lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, post-surgical chronic lower back pain, lumbar spine degeneration and arthritis. This form of manipulation provides a comfortable distraction (separation) of joint structures to alleviate or reduce pressure on spinal nerves, spinal joints and stretches soft tissues of the lower back.

Spinal Decompression is a traction therapy that differs from flexion distraction manipulation but is useful for lower back and neck related conditions. Patients with advanced spinal disc degeneration or nerve root compression resulting in either leg or arm pain can benefit from this form of therapy. Spinal decompression is generally a very comfortable procedure. Other therapies or manipulative treatments are often applied on the same visit.
