Adrenal Gland Evaluation should be considered if you have trouble staying asleep, crave salt, are a slow starter in the morning, experience afternoon fatigue, feel dizzy upon standing up quickly, suffer from afternoon headaches or headaches with exertion or stress, have weak nails, perspire easily, are under a high amount of stress or gain weight when under stress.

Deviations from a normal diurnal rhythm or in quantity (levels) of cortisol are important clues in the assessment of adrenal gland function.
